Frequently asked questions
How do I change the order of the merged pages?
Pages are joined in the order you added the files. Choose “Files in upload order” or “Reverse order” in the options. For a custom order, add the files one by one in the order you want.
The merged PDF is too large. What can I do?
Set “After merging” to “Also compress after merging”, or run the result through the Compress PDF tool.
Is Merge PDF really free?
Yes. There is no signup, no watermark and no paid plan. The site is supported by ads.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. Your file is processed by code running in your browser. The page only downloads the open-source libraries it needs (for OCR, also the language data), never your file.
